Plano, Texas — If you have a Medicare Advantage plan in Plano this year, take a close look at the mail from your insurer this fall. The 2027 plan year brings a real shuffle in Collin County: 37 plans that Plano residents can choose today will not renew for 2027, 21 new plans are entering the market, and 9 keep the same coverage but change names.

That means many members will need to make a decision during the Annual Enrollment Period, which runs from October 15 through December 7.

A couple of notes on names that look familiar: two Wellpoint D-SNPs (Wellpoint Dual Advantage and Wellpoint Full Dual Advantage) appear on both the leaving and the new-for-2027 lists.
