Spotted something that looks wrong or out of date? Send us the details below and we'll review it against our sources.
Thank you — your correction has been sent. If you included your email, we'll follow up where appropriate.
How we handle corrections
- Review. We check the reported issue against our primary sources (CMS, Medicare.gov, Census, and official program figures).
- Fix. If we confirm an error, we correct it as soon as practicable.
- Disclose. For material corrections (ones that change the meaning or a key figure), we note that the article was corrected and update its "updated" date. Minor fixes such as typos or formatting may be made without a separate notice.
- Follow up. If you gave us your contact information, we will let you know the outcome where appropriate.
Keeping content current
Medicare figures and rules change over time. We refresh annual program figures (such as premiums, deductibles, and income thresholds) each plan year as official numbers are released, and we revisit articles as rules and dates change. See our editorial policy for more on how we source and review content.
For official figures and personalized help, you can always verify with Medicare.gov or 1-800-MEDICARE (TTY 1-877-486-2048), free of charge.
