What Anthem is offering in Clark County for 2027
Las Vegas is in Clark County, where Medicare Advantage availability is set. For 2027, CMS lists eight Anthem Medicare Advantage plans in the county, all of them including Part D drug coverage. Three are HMOs and five are HMO-POS plans. Of the eight, six are Special Needs Plans.
The table below lists every Anthem plan available in Clark County for 2027. Anthem is one of 10 carriers offering Medicare Advantage plans in the county next year; across all carriers there are 72 plans.
The Special Needs Plans in the lineup
Six of Anthem's eight plans are SNPs, which means they are limited to people who meet specific eligibility rules:
- D-SNP (Dual Eligible): For people who have both Medicare and Medicaid. Anthem's two D-SNPs in the county are Anthem Full Dual Advantage (HMO D-SNP) and Anthem Full Dual Advantage 2 (HMO D-SNP).
- C-SNP (Chronic Condition): For people with certain qualifying conditions. Anthem has three C-SNPs here — Anthem I CareMore Chronic Care, Anthem I CareMore Kidney Care and Anthem I CareMore Lung Care — all HMO-POS.
- I-SNP (Institutional): For people who live in, or need the level of care provided in, a long-term care facility. The one in this lineup is Anthem I CareMore Home Care (HMO I-SNP).
If you are not sure whether you qualify for one of these, call 1-800-MEDICARE or check with the plan directly. The two general-enrollment Anthem options are Anthem I CareMore Medicare Advantage (HMO-POS) and Anthem Medicare Advantage (HMO-POS).
What is new, and what is not returning
For 2027 in Clark County, Anthem is not adding any new Medicare Advantage plans and is not discontinuing any. That does not mean nothing changes. Every returning plan sends out an Annual Notice of Change (ANOC) each fall. The ANOC spells out what is different for the coming year — things like the drug formulary, the pharmacy network, the provider network, costs, and extra benefits.
If you have an Anthem plan now, your ANOC should have arrived by late September 2026. Read it alongside your prescription list and the names of the doctors and specialists you see.
How to check a plan against your doctors and prescriptions
The two places that give you a personal answer are the Medicare Plan Finder at medicare.gov and the plan's own documents. Here is a simple way to work through it before December 7, 2026:
1. List your prescriptions, with the exact dose and how often you take them. Add the pharmacies you prefer. 2. List your doctors and key providers, including any specialists and the hospital you want to use. 3. Go to medicare.gov/plan-compare, enter your ZIP code, and type in your drugs. The tool will show you how each plan covers them. 4. Check the provider directory on the plan's own website, or call the plan, to confirm your doctors are in-network for 2027. Directories change throughout the year, so confirm it close to the time you enroll. 5. Read the Evidence of Coverage (EOC) for any plan you are seriously considering. It is the full rulebook.
If any of this feels like a lot, call 1-800-MEDICARE (TTY 1-877-486-2048), 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Program-level numbers to keep in mind
A few confirmed figures help put 2027 drug coverage in context:

- The Part D maximum deductible is $700 in 2027, up from $615 in 2026.
- The old "donut hole" coverage gap was eliminated in 2025; Part D now has three phases.
- The Medicare Prescription Payment Plan lets you spread your drug costs across the year in level monthly payments, if that helps your budget.
The 2027 Part B standard premium and deductible, and the 2027 IRMAA income brackets, had not been announced as of early fall 2026. CMS typically publishes them in November.
