Aetna's Medicare Advantage plans in Oklahoma City for 2027: a plan-by-plan look
Oklahoma City — Aetna's 2027 Medicare Advantage lineup for Oklahoma County is set, and it looks a little different than it did this year. For the plan year that starts January 1, 2027, Aetna is offering five Medicare Advantage plans in the county Oklahoma City sits in — up from four in 2026 — with one brand-new plan, one renamed plan, and no plans leaving the market. If you already have an Aetna plan, nothing happens automatically unless you want it to; your plan renews with the changes spelled out in your Annual Notice of Change (ANOC).

MyMedicarePlans.org is an independent news and education site. We are not Aetna, and we are not Medicare. Aetna is one of eight carriers selling Medicare Advantage plans in Oklahoma County for 2027 — together those carriers offer 59 plans — so what follows is a look at one carrier's slate, not the whole market.
What Medicare Advantage plans does Aetna offer in Oklahoma City for 2027?
In Oklahoma County, which includes Oklahoma City, Aetna is offering five Medicare Advantage plans for 2027. By plan type, that is two HMOs and three PPOs. All five include prescription drug coverage, and two of the five are Special Needs Plans for people who have both Medicare and Medicaid (D-SNPs). There are no chronic-condition (C-SNP) or institutional (I-SNP) plans in Aetna's Oklahoma County lineup this year.
The table below lists every Aetna plan available in the county for 2027, in alphabetical order, with its plan type and drug coverage.
What is new, renamed, or not returning from Aetna in 2027?
One Aetna plan is new in Oklahoma County for 2027: Aetna Medicare Dual Extra Care (HMO D-SNP), a dual-eligible plan with drug coverage. One plan has a new name: Aetna Medicare Signature Care (HMO) was called Aetna Medicare Signature (HMO) in 2026. None of Aetna's 2026 plans are leaving the county for 2027.
A rename doesn't automatically mean the benefits are the same or different — the plan's Annual Notice of Change is the document that spells out what, if anything, is changing in cost-sharing, drug coverage, or the provider network. If you're currently in that plan, that notice went out in late September.
How do I check an Aetna plan against my doctors and prescriptions before December 7?
The fastest way is to use the Medicare Plan Finder at medicare.gov/plan-compare. You can enter your ZIP code, type in each of your prescription drugs with the dosage, and add your preferred pharmacy. The tool will show how each plan covers those drugs and give you a yearly estimate of your drug costs under each one.
For doctors and hospitals, use the plan's own online provider directory, or call Aetna's member services number listed on medicare.gov. Networks can change from year to year, so even if your doctor was in-network in 2026, it's worth re-checking for 2027. You can also call 1-800-MEDICARE (TTY 1-877-486-2048), 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Do this before December 7, 2026. That is the last day of the Annual Enrollment Period, and any change you make during the window takes effect January 1, 2027.
What else is changing in Medicare for 2027?
A few program-wide figures are already set. The Part D out-of-pocket cap rises to $2,400 in 2027 (it is $2,100 in 2026). The Part D maximum deductible rises to $700 in 2027 (from $615 in 2026). The Part D national base beneficiary premium for 2027 is $41.33 — that's a formula input Medicare uses, not what any specific plan charges.
The 2027 Part B standard premium and deductible, and the 2027 income brackets for IRMAA (the higher-income surcharge), have not been announced yet. CMS typically publishes those figures later in the fall, usually in November. We'll update coverage when they're out; don't rely on projections in the meantime.
What happens if I do nothing before December 7?
If you do nothing, your current Medicare plan renews for 2027 as long as the plan is still offered — with whatever changes are described in your Annual Notice of Change. For Aetna members in Oklahoma County, every 2026 plan is being offered again in 2027 (one under a new name), so no one is being forced to pick a new plan because theirs is leaving.
That said, "nothing is leaving" is not the same as "nothing is changing." Premiums, deductibles, drug tiers, copays, and provider networks can all shift from one plan year to the next. The ANOC is the document that tells you what's different. If you still like your plan after reading it, you don't need to do anything.
